Common questions
Can I leave my dog in the accommodation while I’m out?
Best not. A strange room and a long day unsettles most dogs. If yours is happy on their own, please get in touch so we can approve it first.
What is doggy daycare?
You leave your dog with us for the day and we look after them ourselves. A walk in the morning, then the run of the place. They sleep where we are and go home tired.
How many dogs do you care for?
Daycare is just for our guests, and we keep it small. Usually one or two dogs at a time, so yours has our full attention.
How is it charged?
$15.00 an hour, per dog, with a one hour minimum.
Where can I take my dog for a walk?
You are very welcome to wander the field here, or head down Post Office Lane. On a lead, and with a bag for anything left behind. Our other guests come here for the quiet, so give them a little room.
What should I bring?
A lead and your dog’s favourite treats. We supply the bowls and water. Please make sure vaccinations are up to date, so everyone is safe and sound.
My dog doesn’t get on with other dogs.
Tell us when you book. Plenty of dogs would rather have us to themselves.
What if my dog damages something?
It goes on your account, same as anything else. It rarely comes up.
Do I need to book ahead?
By 5pm the day before, so we can roster someone on to look after your dog properly.
