SKI OR RIDE ON THE SLOPES

You’ll be staying just a short 15 minute drive away from Thredbo and an even shorter five minute drive away from the Ski Tube which will transport you to Perisher in no time.

You won’t soon forget the discoveries over the 50 kms of gravity riding, cross country and MTB action trails at Thredbo. There are all levels of bike riding just minutes away from Tinkersfield. The Thredbo Valley Track meanders along the banks of the mighty Thredbo River, riders maintain flow through open alpine, snow grass fields and ancient eucalyptus forests.
CATCH A FISH
The foothills of the Snowy Mountains offers a wide variety of fishing choices which range from alpine streams, world-renowned rivers, and lakes like Eucumbene, Jindabyne and Khancoban Pondage. Endless opportunities await, with a thousand plus kilometres of wild trout water to wade in. The Snowy Mountains is a must as it is New South Wales' premier trout fishing area. Pursuing these wild mountain fish is one of our favourite spring, summer and autumn activities. With expert guides keen to take you to high fishing spots and also discuss their fishing secrets, no experience is essential. Besides, what better way to experience the tranquillity of the Snowies, than by the side of an alpine stream in the wilderness or by boat on one of our beautiful lakes. A memory that will last a life time.
