Everything about us links back to our origins and to this pristine, beautiful environment we’re lucky enough to call home. .
A NATURAL WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Our mountain fields are a sanctuary for a menagerie of animals & birds. Watch the kangaroos peacefully grazing in the morning dew. If you are lucky you may spot the shy platypus in the creek. This area is full of a variety of birds. We are, even lucky enough to have two wedge tail eagles with their home in the valley that we see often. A dream for all nature lovers out there

While our homes are filled with vintage charm in a rural location, our interiors are adorned with all the modern creature comforts from the modern world. Our accommodation is custom designed, restored and built by us to ensure you get the best comfort, best views, best experience of our mountain country. We combine ethically sourced materials, antique furniture and handmade artisan pieces to create relaxed, comfortable and inspiring spaces.

Our homes are not the kind of places where you need to bring a bunch of sheets and towels. You will find your feather topped bed all made up with fluffy doonas, blankets and dreamy pillows - all ready to snuggle into. The bathroom is stocked with refreshing & relaxing lotions & potions & lots of towels for pampering.
HOUSE RULES
We are thrilled to have you as our guest! To provide the best experience for you and our future guests, we request your assistance in reviewing the following policies. BOOKINGS 50% deposit of the total of your reservation is required to confirm your booking. This will be charged to your nominated credit card or via EFT and a receipt will be emailed to you. The final payment of your booking is due 28 days prior to your arrival and will be processed to your nominated credit card or via EFT and a receipt will be emailed to you. CANCELLATIONS Prior to Arrival: 60 days or more | Full Refund less 10% of total booking amount 56 days or less| | All monies paid will be forfeited unless we are able to re book the property. Any incurred costs in re-booking will be deducted from the refund amount. No refund can be given in the event of non-arrival or any unused services. We recommend that you protect yourself with Travel Insurance. Rates are subject to change without notice. All cancellations must be notified in writing to send a friend or family member in your place. MINIMUN STAY Bookings require a two-night minimum If availability allows, a one night stay will be made available on the online booking system. Please enquire when booking. GENERAL POLICIES LUGGAGE Luggage can be stored on request. Tinkersfield is not liable for any missing or damaged items. OCCUPANCY You are only to have the designated guests that you nominated when making your booking if these numbers change please notify us before arrival. If you violate this policy you will be charged for additional guests if the property can accommodate them in beds or they will be asked to leave immediately. NO PARTY POLICY Tinkersfield enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of all our guests. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. A warning will be issued, should guest violate this policy. A second violation will result in immediate eviction from Tinkersfield without refund. No property shall be used for weddings, workshops or other social gatherings unless approved. Our properties are designed as homes and do not have the infrastructure to accommodate extra people. A $3500 fee will be charged if violated and the guests asked to leave without refund. SMOKING Tinkersfield is a 100% non-smoking facility. Any evidence of smoking in the homes will result in a $1,000 fee. PETS We love pets at Tinkersfield. And we have noticed that pets love it hear too. Please make a request when booking. We have kennels available for when you need to go out and they are unable to tag along. Pets are not allowed in the national park. PHOTOGRAPHY Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on property without prior approval from management. A $2000 fee will be charged if violated. Parking Tinkersfield has ample parking outside each property. The parking is outside. Furniture and Room Furnishings All furniture, furnishings and kitchenware must be returned to it’s original placement prior to checking out. Violations will result in an additional fee. DAMAGE, MISSING ITEMS & EXCESSIVE CLEANING Upon booking we require a credit card on hold for any damages and excessive cleanings beyond normal use of our amenities incurred during the guest's stay. The guest authorises Tinkersfield to charge the cost of repair of such damage or loss of such items caused by themselves, or any person for whom they are responsible. Such damage would include the cost of cleaning bedding and upholstery, and fumigation if the guest smokes in a room, and/or damage to furniture, rugs, walls and fixtures as well as replacing missing items such as bedding, towels, furnishings, kitchenware, etc.guest authorises Tinkersfield to charge the cost of repair of such damage or loss of such items caused by themselves, or any person for whom they are responsible.
